No additional ticket costs for the included journeys: the service is funded through the visitor tax. A valid guest card is required. The current conditions of the transport association and guest card scheme apply.

When can I start using the guest card?
It is available from your first overnight stay. Once activated, it can be used on your arrival day; departure travel is also included.
Where is the guest card valid?
On VVV routes in Vorarlberg and as far as the listed border stations. For travel beyond these, please check which additional ticket you need.
How do I receive the digital card?
After your digital guest registration with an email address, you receive access to Romi. Activate your card there. Please contact us if the message has not arrived.
What if I do not have a smartphone?
A printed guest card is available only on site from us on the designated forms. Printing the digital guest card yourself does not produce a valid ticket. For travel before you arrive, use the activated digital card in Romi or obtain a suitable ticket.

Our regional breakfast is included in your room rate. Enjoy bread, homemade jams and local cheese in a welcoming breakfast room. Please contact us in advance about dietary requirements.

Find us at Sebastianstraße 16, 6850 Dornbirn, in the Oberdorf district, close to the centre. Travel by car or arrive at Dornbirn railway station and continue by local bus. A bus stop is near the house. For the right connection and any questions about access, contact us directly.

Hospitality with responsibility
We are working to reduce the environmental impact of our house through solar thermal energy, photovoltaics, wood-chip heating and more conscious mobility. Our own electric car and battery storage are part of this approach. Our charging station is available to house guests subject to availability, at a flat rate of €10 per charging session. Please arrange its use with us in advance. Our commitment to reducing emissions is an ongoing process.
City, mountains and Lake Constance
Dornbirn is a convenient base for exploring Vorarlberg. Combine city life and museums with walks, mountain scenery or a day at Lake Constance. The Bregenzerwald, Montafon and nearby destinations in Germany and Switzerland offer further ideas. In autumn, enjoy colourful landscapes and cultural visits; in winter, choose museums or winter walks suited to current conditions. Spring and summer bring more opportunities for lakeside outings and hikes. Check opening times, transport and weather before setting out.
Mainau Island: Plan a full-day trip to the gardens, Lake Constance views and the butterfly house near Konstanz in Germany. Mainau is a year-round destination with seasonal highlights.
